Those of you who have seen FLCL, a 6 OAV anime from Gainax, know how truly weird and warped it really is. My point in making this music video was to make that anime look "normal", and I really like the way it turned out. Thanks to Kyo for the DVD source. Thanks to Patryn for the RealMedia file.

The Utena Movie, while having very little to do with the plot of the TV series, is really beautiful to watch. I've liked this U2 song for a long time, and one day it just clicked that it would work with a lot of those incredible scenes from the Utena movie.

CardCaptor Sakura is my favorite anime, and I enjoy watching the relationship between Sakura and Yukito. Please note: if you want to see the majority of scenes used in this video, you will not find them on the "Cardcaptors" DVDs/VHS - you'll have to watch the real thing: CardCaptor Sakura. NOTE: The original version of this video was made with a sample copy of a professionally subbed version which was shown at a Canadian film festival. That fan-made music video was actually completely finished before the film was professionally released to theaters in Japan! Later, after the film had run in the theaters and the LD was released, a few of us bought copies of the LD and the video was remade from that source, to improve picture quality and remove the subtitles.

WARNING: Perfect Blue is an intense psycho-thriller, and a darned good one. Graphic, both violently and sexually, it is a work of cinematic art made to be theatrically released to a fully grownup audience, and is absolutely not for small children! That is the spirit of the movie, and that spirit has been preserved in this music video.

I am not a fan of the original Vampire Hunter D, and while the trailers I had seen looked cool, I wasn't that interested in seeing the new movie Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. But I borrowed the DVD from my friend Patryn, watched it, and really liked it. The visuals are incredible, and there are so many obvious great scenes featuring D that are perfect for a mv ... none of which I used. ^_^

"I only like 2 Backstreet Boys songs, and this is one of them. I used the first Kenshin TV DVD (Ruroni Kenshin - Lengendary Swordsman), and a Japanese import LD of the movie which is a recap of the whole series. So if you're buying the professional releases, you're going to have to wait a while to see some of the scenes." ^_^x
